This Sunday, Barracas Central faced Dep. Riestra in an intense match for the third round of the competition that saw no winner at the final whistle.
The game started with Dep. Riestra taking the lead when Antony Alonso found the net in the 24th minute, leaving Barracas Central in a challenging position.
However, Barracas Central responded in the second half, with Rodrigo Insúa converting a penalty to level the scores in the 59th minute, giving the home fans a glimmer of hope.
In the first half, Barracas Central had a close call as Jonathan Herrera struck the post, leading to a collective gasp from the crowd.
Antony Alonso stood out during the match, being the star player for Dep. Riestra with his crucial goal and four shots on target.
Rodrigo Insúa was also key for Barracas Central, not only scoring the equalizer but also contributing defensively with two important clearances.
