The match, which marked the start of the new season, saw Tigre take the lead with a goal from Alan Barrionuevo in the 52nd minute, followed by an additional goal from Jalil Elías in the 64th minute.
Barrionuevo’s goal uplifted the spirits of the home fans as he executed a brilliant solo effort down the right flank, placing the ball perfectly into the bottom right corner of the net, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Alan Barrionuevo not only scored the opening goal but also showed remarkable defensive skills by clearing four dangerous balls from his area, earning him the title of the match’s standout player.
Jalil Elías contributed significantly as well, sealing the victory with his goal later in the second half.
In a thrilling moment, Gabriel Alanís of Estudiantes (RC) captivated the crowd with a slick nutmeg on Guillermo Soto just 13 minutes into the match.
