In a thrilling encounter on Tuesday, Independiente Riv. (M) triumphed over Huracán with a score of 2-1 during the second matchday of the Apertura tournament. Huracán took the lead in the 38th minute of the first half when Jordy Caicedo capitalized on a well-executed play to score the opener.
The second half proved decisive for Independiente Riv. (M), who recovered with two crucial goals from headers. Fabrizio Sartori initiated the comeback just 7 minutes into the half, heading the ball past goalkeeper Hernán Galíndez following a precise cross from Gonzalo Ríos. The equalizer sparked renewed energy in the visitors.
Sheyko Studer became the hero of the match, not only scoring the second goal in the 64th minute, but also making vital defensive contributions throughout the game.
Fabrizio Sartori was also a standout performer, delivering an impressive display with his goal and two shots on target, helping cement the victory for the visitors.
