The home side was behind after Luifer Hernández put Cúcuta ahead in the 18th minute with a well-executed goal. However, Internacional bounced back with a goal from Dereck Moncada just after halftime (47’), followed by another from Facundo Boné early in the second half (49’), sealing the comeback.
