Estudiantes de La Plata has emerged as the champions of the Clausura, securing victory via penalties, 5-4, in a tense match against Racing Club. The match was held at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades, where Estudiantes triumphed on penalties after the match concluded in a 1-1 tie. Scoring for Estudiantes were José Sosa, Lucas Alario, Joaquín Tobio Burgos, Eric Meza, and Facundo Rodríguez, while Edwuin Cetré missed his penalty. For Racing, Gastón Martirena and Franco Pardo were unable to convert their opportunities.
During regulation time, Racing took the lead with a goal from Adrián Martínez in the 35th minute of the second half. Estudiantes equalized shortly after, with Guido Carrillo scoring in the 47th minute, setting the stage for the penalty shootout.
Guido Carrillo was undoubtedly the standout player of the match, demonstrating his skill by scoring a crucial goal, attempting four shots on target, and completing 15 accurate passes. His performance was pivotal in leading his team to victory.
Adrián Martínez also shone for Racing, notably scoring their only goal and contributing two shots and 12 successful passes.
