In the 36th round of the Brasileirao, Grêmio secured a narrow victory against Palmeiras with a scoreline of 3-2. Under the guidance of coach Luiz Venker Menezes, Grêmio rallied after trailing earlier in the match, celebrating their hard-fought win with goals from Francis Amuzu (47’ 1T), Carlos Vinicius (15’ 2T, penalty), and Willian (38’ 2T, penalty). Palmeiras initially led the game with Facundo Torres (23’ 1T) and Benedetti (47’ 2T) contributing to their score.
Francis Amuzu was undoubtedly the star of the match, scoring one goal and taking four shots on target. Marcelo Lomba, the goalkeeper for Palmeiras, also played a pivotal role, making an impressive nine saves throughout the evening.
