Bancy Hernandez broke the deadlock in the 12th minute of the first half, followed by Jaime Moreno, who extended the lead with a goal in the 36th minute of the second half, sealing the win for the home side.
Bancy Hernandez was particularly impressive, contributing significantly with his goal. Meanwhile, Jaime Moreno also shone brightly, adding another goal to the tally.
Under coach Marco Figueroa’s tactical setup of 4-5-1, Nicaragua fielded Alyer López in goal, with a defense comprising Josué Quijano, Justing Cano, Henry Niño, and Anyelo Velásquez.
