This Thursday, U. Magdalena secured a solid 2-0 victory against Fortaleza FC in a crucial match for the 20th round of the first division. The standout performer was none other than Misael Martínez, who netted both goals for the home side.
Martínez broke the deadlock just 12 minutes into the second half with a well-executed strike, demonstrating his clinical finishing. He followed this up shortly after, doubling the lead and expanding his personal tally for the night.
Fortaleza FC had a chance to find their way back into the game when Cristian Mosquera struck the post in the 73rd minute, but ultimately, they were unable to translate their efforts into goals.
