In the 20th round of the first division, Edison López delivered a standout performance that saw him net two goals, leading El Equipo Naranja to a convincing 3-0 win against Llaneros FC. Both of López’s goals came in the first half, with strikes at the 16th and 24th minutes. Didier Dawson added to the scoreline with a goal shortly after the break in the 75th minute.
The match sprang to life at the 16-minute mark when López powered in a header from a well-placed cross by Neymar Uribe, sending the home crowd into a frenzy and putting Envigado in front. Shortly thereafter, he struck again to extend his team’s lead.
Envigado’s forward Bayron Garcés missed a chance to further increase the margin when he failed to convert a penalty kick in the 51st minute of the second half.
