The encounter between Juventud and Progreso, held this Sunday, resulted in a draw with both teams scoring one goal.
The first half saw Progreso take the lead when Gonzalo Silva scored in the 40th minute. However, Juventud managed to equalize with a goal from Rodrigo Chagas in the 72nd minute of the match.
Rodrigo Chagas emerged as the standout player of the game, netting the equalizer for Juventud. Meanwhile, Gonzalo Silva also made headlines, contributing the opening goal for Progreso.
Juventud’s head coach, Sebastián Méndez Pardiñas, implemented a 4-3-3 formation. The lineup featured Sebastián Sosa as goalkeeper; with Federico Barrandeguy, Ángel Morosini, Axel Prado, and Emmanuel Mas forming the defensive line; Iván Rossi, Mateo Izaguirre, and Ramiro Peralta in midfield; and Jonathan Urretaviscaya, Franco Soldano, and Agustín Rodríguez leading the attack.
On the other side, Leonel Rocco’s Progreso opted for a 5-4-1 formation with Nicolás Gentilio in goal; Gianfranco Trasante, Ayrton Cougo, Hernán Carroso, Nicolás Olivera, and Facundo Kidd in defense; Agustín Pinheiro, Gonzalo Silva, Nicolás Fernández, and Ignacio Lemmo in midfield; and Matteo Copelotti at the forefront.
Referee Augusto Olmos officiated the match.
As the match concluded, Juventud remained in 12th place on the table with 16 points, while Progreso climbed to 10th with 18 points.
