In the 13th round of the Clausura tournament, Dep. Riestra triumphed over Instituto with a narrow 1-0 victory at Guillermo Laza Stadium. The lone goal of the match was scored by Jonathan Herrera, striking in the 48th minute of the game.
After receiving a well-placed assist from Alexander Díaz, Herrera made no mistake and fired a powerful shot that found its way past the opposing goalkeeper.
Despite enjoying 65% possession, Instituto struggled to convert their control into effective scoring opportunities, ultimately leading to their defeat.
