Pedro Neto’s stunning direct free-kick at the 51st minute brought the crowd to their feet, as the ball curled past Matz Els Sels into the left corner of the net.
Nottingham’s Igor Jesus had a chance to pull one back for his side in the 70th minute, but his shot hit the post, denying the hosts any opportunity to score.
