In a closely contested match at Ergilio Hato Stadium, Curacao and Trinidad ended with a 1-1 draw during the fourth round of Group B.
Trinidad fell behind early when Kenji Gorré scored in the 19th minute of the first half. However, they were able to equalize thanks to Tyrese Spicer, who found the net in the 57th minute.
Tyrese Spicer’s performance earned him the title of Man of the Match as he contributed significantly to Trinidad’s efforts with his goal.
Kenji Gorré was another standout player, showcasing his skills by scoring for Curacao.
Curacao’s coach, Dick Advocaat, arranged his team in a 4-3-3 formation featuring Eloy Room in goal; Shurandy Sambo, Jurien Gaari, Armando Obispo, and Sherel Floranus in defense; Leandro Bacuna, Livano Comenencia, and Juninho Bacuna in midfield; alongside Kenji Gorré, Gervane Kastaneer, and Jeremy Antonisse at the front.
On the other side, Trinidad’s coach Dwight Yorke opted for a 5-4-1 setup with Denzil Smith in goal; defenders Rio Cardines, Josiah Trimmingham, Jackie Jerrin, Kobi Henry, and Andre Raymond; midfielders Dante Sealy, Andre Rampersad, Molik Khan, and Tyrese Spicer; and Levi García leading the attack.
