In a dominating display, Inter Miami triumphed over Seattle Sounders with a final score of 3-1 during the 29th week of the MLS season. Under Javier Mascherano’s guidance, Miami showcased their strength and strategy throughout the game.
The scoring began early when Jordi Alba netted a stunning goal in the 11th minute, setting the tone for Miami’s offensive prowess. Shortly before the half-time whistle, Lionel Messi doubled the lead with a well-placed shot in the 40th minute. The dominance continued into the second half when Ian Fray added a third goal following a defensive error, scoring with a header in the 51st minute. Seattle managed to find the net once, courtesy of Obed Vargas, who capitalized on a mistake to score in the 68th minute.
Both sides had opportunities to alter the scoreline further, with shots from Osaze de Rosario and Lionel Messi striking the woodwork.
Lionel Messi was the standout player of the match, netting a goal, taking five shots on target, and completing 37 successful passes. Jordi Alba also shone brightly, contributing with a goal and achieving 67 passes successfully.
Javier Mascherano’s tactical setup saw Inter Miami field a 4-4-2 formation. Óscar Ustari started in goal; the defense included Ian Fray, Gonzalo Luján, Maximiliano Falcón, and Noah Allen.
