Woltemade found the net with a powerful header, connecting brilliantly with a pass from Jacob Murphy and placing the ball into the back of the net.
The home side, managed by Eddie Howe, posed a threat just after halftime when Sandro Tonali hit the woodwork with a shot in the 49th minute.
