In a gripping clash at the Metropolitano Stadium, La Equidad and Junior finished the match tied at 1-1, in the 11th round of the first division.
Junior took the lead in the match when Guillermo Paiva scored in the 69th minute of the second half. However, Jovanny Bolívar came through for La Equidad by leveling the score with a goal in the 88th minute.
Despite Junior’s dominance in attempts on goal, the home side struggled to convert their chances into goals, recording 13 shots on target while missing 7. They dominated the match but could not secure the win.
Jovanny Bolívar emerged as the standout player, netting the equalizer for La Equidad and attempting three shots on goal.
Guillermo Paiva also made his mark, contributing to Junior’s efforts with his own goal and four shots at the opposition’s net.

In their next fixture, Junior will face Independiente Medellín away, while La Equidad will host Deportivo Cali.
