On matchday 7 of Liga MX, León showcased their dominance by defeating the Gallos Blancos 3-0. Ismael Díaz enjoyed a stellar performance, scoring two goals during the second half (at the 54th and 73rd minutes). Fernando Beltrán also contributed to the scoreline with a goal just before halftime, solidifying what turned out to be a memorable day for León fans.
León, under the guidance of Eduardo Berizzo, created significant threats throughout the match, including a close shot from James Rodríguez in the 48th minute that hit the post.
Ismael Díaz was named the man of the match, having not only scored twice but also attempting to find the net on two other occasions.
Defensively, Salvador Reyes put on an impressive show, helping to keep Querétaro at bay.

The defense included Omar Mendoza, Diego Reyes, Santiago Homenchenko, and Francisco Venegas, while the midfield was made up of Eduardo Armenta, Ángel Zapata, Pablo Barrera, Rodrigo Bogarín, and Juan Robles, with Lucas Rodríguez upfront.

Looking ahead, León will visit Tigres for their next Liga MX match, while Querétaro will host CF Monterrey.
With this win, León climbs to 10 points, placing them eighth in the standings. Querétaro, however, remains at 4 points, languishing in 17th place.
