In a thrilling encounter at Beira-Rio Stadium, Internacional and Vasco da Gama battled to a 1-1 draw during the 17th round of the Brasileirao.
The match saw Rayan Vitor giving Vasco da Gama the lead in the 29th minute. However, Internacional struck back just before halftime, equalizing in the 45th minute thanks to a brilliant goal by Johan Carbonero.
The decisive moment came in the dying minutes of the match when Carbonero executed a stunning solo effort down the left side. With a powerful shot from just outside the area, he placed the ball perfectly into the bottom left corner of goalkeeper Daniel Cerântula Fuzato’s net.
Internacional pressed hard for a winner, creating numerous chances throughout the match. They recorded 19 shots on goal, hitting the post three times while three other attempts went wide of the mark.
