In the match held for the fourth round of the first division, Tolima, known as Vinotinto y Oro, managed to win at home in the Manuel Murillo Toro stadium. The match was opened with a goal from Brayan Rovira at the 21st minute of the first half, breaking the deadlock.
After receiving a pass from Ever Valencia, Rovira unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box, beating the goalkeeper and giving Tolima the lead.
Brayan Rovira’s excellent performance on the field earned him the title of ‘Man of the Match’ as he scored the only goal for Tolima.
Another key player in this match was Salvador Ichazo, the Pereira goalkeeper, who delivered an impressive performance by saving four shots from the Tolima attackers.

Looking ahead, Tolima will host Atlético Nacional in their next match, while Pereira will face Once Caldas. The latter match is particularly significant as it represents the ‘clássico cafetero’ between these historic rivals.
