The Gallos Blancos struggled to seize the win against hosts Necaxa, suffering a 3-1 defeat in the match held at Estadio Victoria. Johan Rojas kicked off the scoring with a well-worked goal in the 14th minute, followed by a penalty conversion by Agustín Palavecino just six minutes later, leaving Querétaro in a tough situation at 2-0.
Querétaro managed to reduce the gap with a powerful shot from Jonathan Perlaza, finding the net to make it 2-1 after 32 minutes of play. However, they couldn’t turn the tide and ultimately ended up losing the game, with Pavel Pérez sealing the victory for Necaxa with a goal in the 77th minute.
Johan Rojas’s performance earned him the title of the match’s best player, contributing one crucial goal. Pavel Pérez also played a pivotal role for Necaxa, scoring a goal and making two attempts on target.
