The Tuzos achieved a stunning victory at Estadio Hidalgo, defeating the Rayados 3-0 in their opening match of the Liga MX season. The scoring began just five minutes into the second half when Jhonder Cádiz found the net, taking control of the play to break the deadlock. Shortly after, in the 54th minute, Alexei Domínguez scored another goal, this time with a powerful shot from the semicircle after receiving an assist from Cádiz. The match was sealed by Elías Montiel, who completed the rout with a strike in the 66th minute.
One of the standout moments was Domínguez’s goal in the 54th minute, as he unleashed a spectacular shot that found the bottom right corner of the net.
CF Monterrey’s Jesús Corona had a near-miss in the first half, hitting the post at the 25-minute mark, much to the disappointment of his team’s supporters.
Jhonder Cádiz was undoubtedly the star of the match, contributing not only with a goal but also making two attempts on goal against CF Monterrey.
Alexei Domínguez also played a crucial role for Pachuca, netting one goal and registering three shots on target.
