The lead was doubled by Anthony Markanich, who also found the back of the net with a header in the 57th minute of the match.
FC Dallas managed to respond with a goal from Logan Farrington at the 72nd minute, but their attempts to level the score were thwarted. Patrickson Delgado had two great opportunities to change the game, but the woodwork denied him on both occasions.
