Santiago Wanderers claimed a crucial 3-2 victory against D. Antofagasta in the first leg of the Copa Chile, securing their place in the quarterfinals. The home team saw goals from Tobías Figueroa, who converted a penalty in the 50th minute, and Sergio Felipe, who inadvertently netted an own goal in the 8th minute. D. Antofagasta countered with efforts from Joaquín Pereyra, scoring late in the first half (39’), and Maximiliano Cuadra, who found the net twice during the second half (30’ and 42’).
