In a crucial clash on the seventh matchday of Group B in the Intermedio, Juventud secured a decisive 2-0 triumph against Progreso, featuring an impressive performance by forward Agustín Rodríguez, who scored both goals. Rodríguez opened the scoring with a brilliant effort in the 31st minute of the first half. He later extended the lead by converting a penalty just three minutes into the second half, putting the game out of reach for the opposition.
Agustín Rodríguez’s exceptional display earned him the title of man of the match, as he not only scored twice but also took two shots on goal, demonstrating his offensive prowess.
