In a closely contested match, Plaza Colonia emerged victorious over Cerro Largo, thanks to a decisive late goal from Máximo Lorenzi during the 40th minute of the second half. This win marks an important step for Plaza in group A of the Intermedio tournament.
Lorenzi’s performance was instrumental, earning him the title of man of the match after scoring the only goal. His contribution in defense was also significant, showcasing his versatility and commitment on the field.
