Orlando City SC edged out the Colorado Rapids in a tightly contested match during Week 17 of the MLS. Martín Ojeda became the hero of the night, scoring the decisive goal in the 23rd minute of the first half.
Ojeda was undoubtedly the standout player, not only for his goal but also for his two attempts on goal, showcasing his impressive form. Rodrigo Schlegel made significant contributions to the team’s defense, clearing four dangerous balls and ensuring the backline remained solid throughout the match.
Under the guidance of coach Chris Armas, the Rapids employed a 4-4-2 formation with Nico Hansen in goal. The defensive lineup included Reggie Cannon, Andreas Maxso, Ian Murphy, and Sam Vines, while the midfield featured Theodore Ku-Dipietro, Joshua Atencio, Oliver Larraz, and Djordje Mihailovic. Up front, Rafael Navarro and Darren Yapi were tasked with scoring duties.
