João Klauss was undoubtedly the star of the match, netting three goals for St. Louis City at 34’ in the first half, and then striking twice more at the start of the second half with a stunning finish just one minute in, assisted brilliantly by Célio Pompeu.
However, LA Galaxy’s Gabriel Pec answered back with a pair of goals, scoring at 40’ and again at 41’ in the second half, while Matheus Nascimento added another for the visitors at 50’, ultimately ensuring that both teams walked away with a point.
